In this tour you will visit the “El Teniente”, an underground copper mine in the Cachapoal Province, O'Higgins Region, located at 7500 ft (2300 m) above mean sea level in Los Andes mountain. The 2400 km of underground drifts make El Teniente the world’s biggest underground copper mine. El Teniente produces 404,738 metric tons of fine copper per year as fire refined ingots (RAF), and copper cathodes. As a result of ore processing, 5,053 metric tons of Molybdenum were also obtained.
Near to the mine is located the town of Sewell. The town was founded in 1904 by the Braden Copper Co. to provide housing to the miners and its families. In 1915 it was named after the company's first president, Mr. Barton Sewell. In 1918, it already housed 14,000 people. In 1977 the company started moving families to the valley and soon after the camp was being dismantled. In 2006 the town was declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
Sewell is known as the city of stairs as there were no roads, only a train that brought workers and their families to the camp; at night, it had the shape and the looks of a Christmas tree and anyone being born or having lived in Sewell keeps the memories of a place never heard of.
The tour includes transportation, snack and English-speaker tourist guide.

Valparaiso was the key point of the sea routes from the Atlantic Ocean, especially, through the Hornos Cape in order to go to the coasts and islands of the Pacific.
Nowadays, Valparaiso is a commercial and administrative center, surrounded by tourist destinations like Viña del Mar, Reñaca, and Concón. It is also the workplace of the National Congress and is considered an important university center.
Its streets present a mixture of ancient buildings and modern constructions. The downtown is surrounded by stepped hills with plenty of picturesque streets, passages and walkways.
We will start visiting Valparaiso, where the sight of its hills filled with lights is a beautiful spectacle. The trip continues to the Sotomayor square where a monument honoring the national hero Arturo Prat is located.
We will then return to Viña del Mar and continue along the coastal road to Concón, there we will enjoy a snack and a pisco sour.
